Hi there

Hello.

I'm Fede, a growth marketer. I grow programs and communities, and live events are one of the channels I love to use.

It started with dinners in Italian villas, with a fire-eater between courses. Now it is acceleration programs in San Francisco. The venues changed and the job evolved, but the drive is the one I started with: get the right people in the room, then give them a reason to stay, to come back, and to feel part of something.

Start with where I am now. The backstory comes after.

NOW

INNOVIT

Growth Marketing

Italian Innovation Hub · San Francisco · 2025–present

Acceleration programs for Italian startups, scaleups and executives landing in Silicon Valley. Every program is weeks of events: pitch nights, shark tanks, hackathons, workshops, booths, mentor sessions and days out across the Bay. Fifteen programs a year, run by seven people. I bring the audience and make sure the event happens.

  • 15 programs a year
  • +40% attendance
  • 2,200+ net-new, $0 paid
  • 2,100+ community

INNOVIT,
counted

Every photo above sits on top of a funnel. These are the results since 2025.

15
Programs

In-person startup and executive programs a year, run by a team of seven.

2,100+
Community

Selected senior mentors and founder alumni I manage and activate.

2,200+
Net-new

Industry-matched registrants sourced with no paid budget.

+40%
Attendance

On-site attendance after I rebuilt the invite-to-show funnel.

+44%
Registrations

More sign-ups per event from the same multi-touch funnel.

~50%
Less ops work

Per program, after I automated the marketing ops behind each cycle.

How I fill a room

Thirty days out

I check the data at every step and change the plan when it tells me to. This is the playbook behind a typical INNOVIT event.

Public events
200–250approved guests, ~45% average show rate
Private events
50–70executives and key founders, up to 70% show rate
Before day −30

Know who belongs

I start with the companies in the program: what they need, who they need to meet, which deals or partners would move them forward. That decides the guest list. Sending invites is easy; picking the right people takes business sense, and it shapes everything after.

Day −30

Outreach opens

Tailored, multichannel outreach by vertical: email, LinkedIn, Luma and partners. A new audience for every program, matched by industry.

Day −14

First checkpoint

Usually around 80 registered. I read the numbers and decide: push harder or switch tactics. Approvals start here, selected by industry and interest tags.

Day −7

Second checkpoint

Email boost, Luma outreach and LinkedIn push. Recheck the approved list against the room we want.

Day of

Run the room

Run of show and on-site activations, then the part that matters most: introductions. I connect founders with the mentors, investors and partners they came for, and invite the right guests to join the mentor community on the spot.

After

Close the loop

Follow-ups go out within days. Strong matches become mentors, return for the next event or subscribe to the calendar. Structured client feedback on every phase feeds the next program and the team selling it. This is where an event turns into pipeline.

Behind the photos

The machine behind the room

No outreach tool budget, so I built one. These systems let a small team run more events without adding people.

Outreach engine

A memory for every program

I built a system that learns each program from its brief. It writes in INNOVIT's voice or in each private client's voice, knows their process and who has to approve what, and turns it into personalized invites and social posts. Built with zero budget.

$0
Ops automation

Same team, more programs

I automated the marketing ops behind each program cycle. Per-program workload dropped by about half and a team of seven went from 10 to 15 programs a year.

Know what worked

I rebuilt tracking from near-zero so most registrations now carry a source. Channel performance became measurable for the first time.

The backstory

Before INNOVIT

A business school career office in San Francisco, and before that a dinner company of my own in Italy. Same instinct, smaller budgets.

BEFORE INNOVIT

EF x Hult

Marketing Specialist, Career Office

Hult International Business School · San Francisco · 2024–2025

Two audiences in the same room. Students who needed a job, employers who needed the right people. Hackathons, panels, career days, employer discovery, mock interviews, pitch finals. More than thirty of them. The hard part was getting both sides to show up on the same day, in the same place, with the same goal.

One
word.

At the end of an INNOVIT program we ask people for a single word about the experience. This is one of them.

Behind each picture there is a budget, a run of show, a floor plan, vendors and sponsors to manage, weeks of outreach, and the automations I built so all of it could happen at scale. I do that part so I get to see this part: people walking out of a room impacted by my work.
